Our Mission
We serve our clients promptly, with clear communication, and with the spirit of Aloha.
We do our job with the highest standard of care, cleanliness, and concern for our client’s home and property.
We are totally honest. We are friendly, kind, and respectful with everyone we meet.
About Us
We are a locally owned, family-run business.
We use the newest, cutting edge technology to do the most professional possible job for you. To keep costs down for you and for ourselves, we work out of our home offices in East Hawaii. We serve the entire Big Island.
Randy Arellano, our main driver and pumper, is very interested in providing the best possible service. He was born and raised in Hilo and graduated from Hilo High School in 1996. He has years of experience working for the County of Hawaii in sanitation. He is the kind of person who would “take the shirt off his back” to help someone in need.
The initials “JKM” in our business name are the initials of the first names of Randy’s children, Jaeden, Keaniani, and Maya, whom he loves dearly. The business logo, the fancy “JKM,” was created by budding artist Keaniani at age 12.
We are closed on Sundays because we reserve that day for time with the family and going to church.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much do you charge to pump a septic tank?
A: Our fees are fair and competitive. The exact price depends on the location and whether it is a septic tank or cesspool. Please phone us at (808) 966-4644 for a quote.
Q: How often should a septic tank be pumped?
A: It depends on how big the septic tank is and how many people live in the house. The University of Hawaii Extension Service recommends the following:
Number of people in household | |||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Tank size (gal) |
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | |
Years between pumpings | |||||||
500 | 5.8 | 2.6 | 1.5 | 1.0 | 0.7 | 0 .4 | |
1000 | 12.4 | 5.9 | 3.7 | 2.6 | 2.0 | 1.5 |
Q: Do I need to be home while you are pumping my septic tank?
A: It is nice to have you home in case we need to ask you any questions or point anything out to you, but it is not a problem if you need to be somewhere else.
Q: If I call for an appointment, how soon can you come to do the pumping?
A: Our schedule is different from week to week, but often, we can provide same day or next day service.
